Choose the wrong form factor, colors or even visual elements, and your product may sit on shelves collecting dust. The passing of risks occurs when the goods are loaded on board at the port of shipment. It is these operating companies that actually run the warehouses and hire the full-time employees.

The last distinction is important for determining liability or risk of loss for goods lost or damaged in transit from the seller to the buyer. This also ties directly into first impressions. Once the cargo is on board, the buyer assumes the risk.
